Alejandro Fábregas-Tejeda

Hi there! I am a Mexican historian and philosopher of science, with a special focus on the life sciences.

Currently, I work as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Centre for Logic and Philosophy of Science, Institute of Philosophy, KU Leuven, and I am a member of The Ramsey Philosophy of Biology Lab. I earned a Ph.D. in Philosophy from Ruhr University Bochum (RUB) as part of the DFG-Emmy Noether Research Group “The Return of the Organism in the Biosciences: Theoretical, Historical and Social Dimensions” (ROTO) and was a Writing-Up Fellow at the Konrad Lorenz Institute for Evolution and Cognition Research. I hold an M.A. in Philosophy of Science (with complementary specialization in History of Science) and a B.Sc. in Biology from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). At present, I serve as book reviews editor for the Journal for General Philosophy of Science. I am also a fiction writer and editor (in Spanish).

Thank you for your interest in my work!
